Table Output Header does not scroll after 255 column

Postby simotsa » Fri Nov 06, 2015 6:46 pm

I found that when QPad is displaying a table with over 500 columns, the output header will not scroll after 255 column, as a result, the data representation is misaligned when viewing pass the 255 column.

Image

Top half: before scrolling pass 255th columns
Bottom half: scrolling pass 255th columns (content continue to scroll, but not header)

Thanks for reporting it, although I've known about this glitch for a while...
Problem isn't related to 255 cols, rather to some length in pixels (about max_int probably) that header can handle. You can make columns narrower, it'll scroll further.
I'll try finding some solution to this problem with virtual listview common control that I'm using (if there are any at all), meanwhile you can view such resultsets in exec by pressing export to excel button or in browser (right-click on table & Open in browser).

Cheers,
Oleg
