Steps to install:

• Extract the downloaded ZIP archive into a target directory of your choice, with at least 20Mb of free space;
• Create a shortcut to qpad.exe by dragging the file onto your Desktop (or any other location);
• Double-click on the shortcut (you've just created) or on qpad.exe in the target directory to run the application.

  It's been more than 15 years since 1st public version of qPad went live on this site. That is quite enough time to evaluate it for free. Free version of qPad can refuse to work in a corporate environment now, but remains fully functional for people learning q at home. If you find this tool valuable in your dayjob, please consider asking your organization to get a licensed version of qPad from me.
